Default LA area guys, Sunday Seminar/Practice Sessions

SEMINARS FOR BEGINNERS (Hybrid Shooting Dojo
For you LA area guys - The Institute of Martial Arts is offering a series of consecutive Sunday Seminar/Practice sessions. All of the sessions build upon the previous session but cover a new area each time.
The first six sessions cover various (ground) positions and offensive and defensive techniques from each, transitional defense etc.

Sunday
January 27th - (the cross body, posture and positions with transition defense and escapes)
Institute of Martial Arts
9537 Culver Blvd.
Culver City, CA
90232
Time: 10-12 (Seminar)
12:15 - 1:15 free mat time for you to train or work on
whatever you like
Cost: $10

February 3rd
Headlock escapes, etc. plus various arm locks
Time and costs are the same for all seminars

February 10th
Scarf fold and reverse scarf fold defense and offense

February 17th
North and South position (Plus basic leg locks)


The seminars will continue in this manner indefinitely with a different topic each Sunday and should give the beginner a firm foundation on the ground. There will be lots of drills for you to take with you and practice with your partners.
