Why are people bashing this guy, he seems cool to me. He gave me some great info. on JKD stance and people insult him...sign.

Is this a troll? OK I'll bite. People diss him because he is so rigid on his definition of JKD. If Bruce didn't do it he doesn't want to hear about it. He also seems to be a little bit mouthy and stands on his soap box a little too much for my taste. He does have some good stuff though. I'm just not into hero worship

I have been to the seminars of Burton Richardson (1), Larry Hartsell (3), Dan Inosanto(3), Joe Lewis(3), Salem Assli(1), and Lamar Davis(3). These are just the JKD seminars over the years I have attended, and I have spent over $20,000 on seminars in the time I have been training in the martial arts. I am looking forward to attending anymore seminars I can from any of these people and many more I have not mentioned. Each has their own take on the martial arts and I find value in each of them. This is not to say I will be able to incorporate or want to incorporate all I was given from these men but I will do the best I can with the information I gleaned from each of them and how or if it fits into what i am doing. To judge anyone without even to have met them is an injustice to yourself. There is so much information out there for you to learn if you just open up your mind and rid yourself of preconceived judgements. Do not judge before you look.

No Question that there is value in what Davis teaches, but the question was why people dis him. The dude does have some serious character defects.
