He teaches out of Hamilton Martial Arts in Hamilton NJ.

He is MEGA skilled in JKD (PFS under Vunak), FMA (awesome with a knife), and BJJ (studied with Renzo Gracie in Brazil).

.................... AND, the guy is like an encyclopedia of martial arts knowledge.

He also has plenty of real world "bar fight" experience having worked as a bouncer for quite a few years at a club in Trenton NJ (NOT a nice place).

All in all, I've trained in several different "traditional" styles, but nothing compares to what I've learned from him.

Here's his site (in progress):

Night classes are as follows:

JKD - Mon., Weds., and Fri. - 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM

BJJ/combat grappling - Tues., Thurs. 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:00PM

Day classes are: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (usually 2:00) and are a BLAST!!! Lots of grappling, take downs, knife work, and close quarter pummeling range stuff (head butts, knees and elbows).

We also do contact fighting which starts in the boxing/kickboxing range (with gloves and head gear) and continues to the ground.

Other styles taught there are:
~ Okinawan Kenpo
~ Torite Jutsu - Pressure point fighting
~ Small Circle Jiu Jitsu

.......... taught by Earl Simkunas and Chris Stinger.

Question

My ? is, about a local MA(4th DAN) instructor in torite-jutsu,Oki-kempo karate-do, and teaches groundfighting techniques. Well he said he trained under Bob Jones for several years up in NJ.. Now he has his own business here called "South Boston United Martial Arts(DRAGON SOCIETY)" Wayne Adams is his name, I've heard nothing but great things about him, but would rather hear it from a professional level such as this.

Also would these styles he teaches,if used and applied properly, fair well in the MMA (comp.) enviroment? I also have a few yrs in U.S.M.C. H2H training, 3yrs. of which were as a certified instructor. So of course all this would be applied together.

Any and all comments good or bad will be greatly appreciated.
