After spending six months in Singapore without doing anything much more than solo training (shadow boxing, weights, running etc.), I am itching for some training. A friend of mine is trying to persuade me to move to Seoul, Korea and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any JKD/FMA/BJJ clubs over there. These particular arts are not present in Singapore (as far as I know). Any leads? -Tony

There are Muay Thai and wrestling clubs there. And judo

Yeah, it certainly feels that way sometimes. In Singapore the local MA supply store clerks seem to get very nervous when I ask "Do you have a list of local schools?" Maybe it's some kind of code word. Drug dealing carries a manatory death sentence here.

If all else fails I guess I can move to Thailand and either smuggle drugs or do Muay Thai for real.

Man, I gotta run. I think the cops saw me type that last bit.

I have a student who is an apprentice instructor moving to Koonson korea. active duty air force, let me know if your close and i'll hook you up.

I won't be in Korea until next June or July, and I'll probably be living in the Shinchon area of Seoul. I don't know where the air bases are, so I have no idea if your student is close to that or not. Thanks for the info!
