Why do you practice martial arts?

The only reason I practice martial arts is to defeat my opponents. All that stuff about further inlightenment on life I just consider a postive side effect if it ever happens. All I am worried about is winning any and all physical confrontations.

What is your reason?

I enjoy it for one. I have always had a strong desire to be the best, and found out I was good at it.

But now most important for me is I want to know more. I'll study any art, and I will try it out and see if there is anything to it.

besides it gets the chicks

heh, i practice MA's for fun. i treat them as hobbies really.
i practice kendo, whats more fun then hitting people over the head with a shinai. (alot of things, but thats beside the point

)

oh ya, and the cool uniforms

also, i dont like going to the gym, so the physical aspect is really appealing to me.

You don't usually want the girls IN the arts, just the ones that are impressed by them

Kingston, as fun as kendo is and as cool as the uniforms are it is not actually a true martial art. It is a Combative Sport. If you want a martial art based on use with the sword, then I would recommend Kenjutsu.

And speaking of the "girls IN the arts" they are a little weird. Most of them aren't even good at martial arts. And the one's who are pretty good usually end up being masculine-angry-man-haters who are attracted to women.

Trolls live off of attention. They LIKE it when you argue with them.

Bashing doesn't usually help with hardcore trouble makers. I mean, look at me....

We been trying to ban Bitty for almost a year now, to no avail.
