Default Natural overlaps in muy Thai

Hey Great Sage,

I think there are natuarl overlaps between JunFan Gung Fu and Thai Boxing at the proper range.
Remember Bruce liked the practicality of boxing so he incorporated Jabs, Crosses, Hooks and Uppercuts into his teachings.

Well, a lot of those are found in Thai Boxing as well as the elbow strikes.
The beauty of his system was that it incorporated different arts to get into a certain range. Once in the trapping range, you could use elements of Thai boxing, Wing Chun, Kali, etc.......

Anyhow, at the kicking & Punching range, there would be a lot of similarities between the two.
Would Bruce teach people to become strickly Thai Boxers? No Way, I'd say.
Sticking to one style went against everything he preached.

PS. Great Sage, this was meant to be a reply in your thread. However, by mistake I created a new thread and I am not able to Delete this post.
