| Registered User | Start with the yellow pages. Really. If you look around and still have some trouble, post again. You need to specify what you want out of training: self defense, fitness, competition, etc.

![]() | I'm afraid I don't know Scott. But I do know and can recommend Dickie Harrell, who lives in Charlotte, NC. He is old school Muay Thai. I'm not aware of his status w/ Guro Inosanto as it has been several years since we trained together. Anyway, here's an article from the Thai Boxing Association web page on him: http://www.thaiboxing.com/harrell-interview.html Highly recommended. Terry |

![]() | I have been in charlotte since 96 and have been training with Mr. Shields for about a year and a half. I wish i had been training with him since 96. He is a world class MAs. He offers many diverse training areas. Specializing in Juijitsu and JKD right now he is offering a Kali class that is excellent and Has Eric Paulson down for seminars on a regluar basis. Go to his website and go to his message board read some of the current discussions. You will not get bored at his school. The only problem I have with him is that there is so much that he can teach you I want to learn it all but do not have the time I am having a hard time picking what I want to train in Since I have been with him I have trained in the JuiJitsu and JKD. I have had one other JkD teacher in the past and Scott shields IS an incredible teacher and Martial Artist .......Check him out...... |
