Default How would have bruce lee change the game if he was alive, incorping the the Gracie's.

Well the gracie family did impact martial arts hardcore with their style being unmatched for years.. that changed of course, cause everyone has to learn to ground fight Evolve and keep learning.... even though ground fighting has been around even before the gracies, it wasn't marketing or put the test like they did. it....

bruce lee was the same way.. With his death.. there wasn't any type of colabortions, because i know even in the 70's bruce was saying brazilian jiu jitsu was a good style to learn. Bruce learned grappling from gene lebell. all pioneers .. (gene being one of them) but wasn't like bruce or the gracies..

bruce wanted to prove the world his philosophies. he was a mixed martial artist..

gracies wanted to prove no style can match them. when gene tapped out bruce lee.. he realized that grappling was nessasary.
chuck norris.. black belt in jiu jitsu under machados and is a great stand up fighter.. .. see how bruce was making things evolve?? real fast.. imagin today? oh my god.. untouchable.. his fighters would be one of the sickest! in mma or whatever..

so what i'm asking the forum is.. if he was alive and being investigators in our sense.. what do you think would have been his impact on martial arts? we'll never know just something to trip out on..

everyone claiming to be "jkd" always lost in the ring.. the master isn't here.. to correct it all.. even though it's a philosophy.. it's martial arts first!

would he have hooked up with the gracies? taught them stand up skills and vice versa?

you have to admit them fool are rich, cause they put it on the map.. all they had to do was convince america that jiu jitsu was it and .. bam! a world wide market.. royce did it.. look now? schools everywhere! japan to the u.s. europe..

What would have bruce done? would his students been as great as helios students...

again i'm using grace because they impacted martial arts and i know bruce would have done the same..

Dan Inosanto has already incorporated the Machado's as well as Shoot Wrestling into his training. I reckon that Bruce would have just done the same thing.

In the last decade people have caught up with the Gracies, and they no longer automatically win. This would have just happened a bit faster, thats all.

No disrespect to them. They changed the MA world.
