Ryu, Do you know the Japanese reading for "Jeet"? I`m too lazy to look it up in a Kanji dictionary...

Well "Jeet Kune Do" translated into Japanese is "Sekkendo" (the name I'm using)
"Sekken" can mean "soap" in Japanese, but depending on the kanji it can also mean something like "overlap" or in this case "intercept"..... I think. "Sek" here is probably the translated form of "Jeet" as "ken" means fist and "Do" is obviously the way.My Japanese is not as good as it should be haha...it's starting to slip. The kanji for "jeet" is B (I'm sure your computer can read kanji)

Thanks! I thought Sekkendo referred to a katakanization of "Second" or somthing like that
![]() I did two years of solid Japanese study at university 8 years ago. It`s unbelievable how much I had lost before I came out here. It`s starting to come back to me though...
