I fought San Shou in Beijing over 10 years ago, so the rules have probably changed by now. Basically, kickboxing with takedowns. You will have to check for particular scoring, length of rounds, etc.

Hi guys,
there is a San Shou competition coming up in my town.
Does anyone know the rules of San Shou? I am thinking about giving it a shot with some of my students.
Thanks.

By the way, it is GREAT experience. Like very hard isolated sparring for NHB.

Thanks guys!
Sounds like fun, it's less than a month away.
I am seeing if my students want to enter, and I am deciding for myself as well.
I'll let ya know what happens.
