hi, everyone. i'm new to the forum so please bear with me until i get it. i've been with jkdu since january of this year. i video tested and am currently in phase 2. i was wondering if anyone can give me an example of how to train the techniques in the phase 2 with my partner giving resistance. it would be very much appreciated. i just need a better way of showing it than the way i'm doing it.
thanks |

Hi Orlando,
Use progressive resistance, meaning that whatever the technique is, have your partner first give no resistance. If you know the technique with no resistance, then have your partner fight it just a little. As you get better, add more and more resistance. You will be able to do your technique when someone is fighting you 100%, and that is when you really own the technique. Aloha!
