Hey all.. Paul Vunak is my buddy.. i recently trained with him for 2 days in california in july 2003... but he is very unprofessional. He was late pickin me up from the airport and late the next day pickin me up for training.. instead of the 10 hours promised i got about 4-5 but he said cause i was so coordinated that he skipped alot of timing drills and stuff like that and jumped right into other stuff and even stuff he doesn't usually teach in the 10 hours.. He almost had me miss my plane cause he was late pickin me up from the hotel to go to the airport.. but anyway....
He hasnt updated his website (fighting.net) for over a year and i have yet to receive my certificate or name on this site saying i'm an instructor.. He also said he wanted me to fly back out and he would train me for free and i could be his assistant.. i have left numerous messages and he never called me back.. i got a hold of him once and told him i was coming out in sept but when i called back with the exact dates i never could get ahold of him and he never called back so i think i might give up. we trained in his crummy house in a little room. But if anyone knows.. please reply back... I recenlty read that he had done something discracful and had to leave his community ( i dunno but i read it ) if anyone has any info.. pleae lemme know. thanks

That is horrible. Sounds worst than Domstar's story. Where did you read about Paul being disgraceful and had to leave his community? I would like to read that article. Anyways, how much did you pay him for the 4-5 hours of training?

I don't remember where i read it but it wasn't out of an article or book but it was on someone's website. and i wish i could remember.. but paul charges about 200 per hour but he is pretty good so i thought it was worth it.
