Thumbs up

I'm impressed with the kenpo system; most of these demos were pre-arranged however I will say that the system can be very effective.

This is coming from personal experience. It doesn't look as pretty and pre-arranged when used for real.

Kenpo hands are some of the fastest out there (other than boxing or jkd). On top of that, kenpo fighters can strike from all kinds of angles with circular power - that same strike becomes a block if the attacker continues with an attack.

Most of the kicks are mid-line to low and the style has a japanese jiu-jitsu element as well - from what I remember, most of the takedowns involve getting control of the head, torso or legs.

Its one of the few 'complete' TMA styles.
