========= How much emphasis does your school put on kata? How in depth do you get with the various applications of kata? For myself, I think its an important piece of the puzzle. While kata is not the end all be all, I do think that it has its place. Stances, offensive/defensive movements, moving while attacking, are just a few things that they touch on.
