can someone please tell me what the hell is a "Knowledge Bot"??????????

Knowledge Bot is a computer program that grabs topics started by people on other MA message boards and posts them here as conversation starters when no new topics have been started in a forum for a while. In forums that don't get much traffic, like this one, Knowledge Bot tends to fill up the forum. Occasionally someone will think the post is from a poster with the name of "Knowledge Bot" and try to engage it in conversation and wonder why he or she doesn't respond. There's no such person.
