Kajukenbo episode on Fight Quest

Fight Quest on the Discovery Channel will air a Kajukenbo episode this Friday at 10 pm ET.

I'm stoked to see this episode. The commercial is up on youtube, I posted a link in the MMA forum (I'd do it again but I'm suffering from the lazies).

Good episode. Doug had that great KO at the end. His opponent walked right into it. Saw lots of JKD symbols. There is definitely a lot of similarity, with the emphasis on eclectic street fighting techniques.

Yeah. Chris of Tribull MMA told me about the KO last December, but I didn't want to spoil the episode. I'd been waiting to see it for over two months, and right when it happened my wife said "honey, is my hand cream on the table?" I looked down...and missed the knockout!!

The fighter Jimmy fought was Matt Bono; his older brother Professor John Bono is a JKD instructor as well. Professor Bono was the big guy doing the gunting drill where he wearing one boxing glove and punching Jimmy in the bicep.
