Just look around through the chain martial arts suppliers for the best price for ex. Century, Tiger Claw, or Asian World of Martial Arts
Dear All,
I am assisting in the opening of a new dojang. Can anyone recommend a good (price & quality) supplier...I am specifically interested in traditional Karate style uniforms!

I don't sell gis![]()
It took me like 20 mins to get that.
heh, good luck on your school spookey. I plan on opening up a cross-trained (I say this since it won't be mixed martial arts not cage fighting based) school someday. Tkd/kenpo/jj will be it's foundation. I am not sure what I will call it though. For the life of me I cannot find a legit jkd school
or one even close to that. Otherwise I would add that to it.
im confussed... will it be a Karate, or a Tae Kwon Do do-jang?
It is a Taekwon-Do dojang! I am a traditionalist and do not promote the whole commercial olympic V-neck thing!Originally Posted by rkcann01

TAEKWON!
"im confussed... will it be a Karate, or a Tae Kwon Do do-jang?" It won't be either. It will have the stuff from these arts put togeither and won't be held back by tradition.

I come from a tkd system that is geared towards kickboxing rather than point fighting. Even though my master has done olympic kickboxing he does not promote going into rings and does not sell out his system. It is itf not the wtf stuff. The wtf stuff is not pratical at all.
Just be sure not to get anything from TKD or Pro Force. A friend had a punching bag from TKD and it lasted about a month and I had some sparring gear from Pro Force and that fell apart in about 3 classes.Originally Posted by Spookey
