Default Hapkido is what im thinking?

Im thinking about doing this, I already had TKD experience. I wonder if Hapkido is useful in street self defense? I know theirs grabbling, sweep kicking, ground work type of stuff. Kinda like JJ/Judo/TKD put together or something like that. Does anyone know a second MA I could learn on my own to go with this? I was thinking more of a hand striking technique. Like fast punching, fast reflex, good blocking stuff. Or should I screw Hapkido and learn JJ and Kung Fu

Fist may I ask what type of TKD do you do??????

To say you do TKD is like saying you do Karate?????

So many styles with some different emphasis – could make a difference in selecting a complementary art.

WFT = Western boxing, Wing Chun then add Judo or BJJ.
Or
Hapkido.
ITF = Judo or BJJ
Or
Hapkido.
ATA = anything
Or
Hapkido.

Hapkido is the logical compliment to any striking base TKD. Hapkido has a general TKD base with its excellent addition of the material that you are looking for.

Good Luck and enjoy the journey!!!!!!

I have training in ata itf and wtf. I did wtf for like 4 1/2 years and itf for like 3 years and ata for like 2 months. WTF is what I remember most. I may say I have only 4 1/2 years of TKD experience but thats how I see it.
