I'm happy now, my instructor is leaving the ATA and going solo. When I asked him why, he said it was because he was tired of paying the ATA money to use 3 letters when the ATA doesn't actually do anything for him. He's also tired of having to buy all his crap through them. Ie. 60 bucks for cheap plastic Kamas and 30 (from century) for decent wooden ones, and lets not forget the belts.
He also said he wants to teach more groundfighting (they won't let him) and stuff like that.
That which doesn't kill me had better be able to run damned fast. ~Anon~
good for him. My tkd school is technically a "wtf" school but my instructor doesnt do anything through their organization. Now that they dont monitor as much as they used to we r doing a lot of groundfighting, kicking to the legs and, streetfighting exercises like takedowns and stuff. beleive me it is more fun.
