Default Where can I find a heavyweight TKD uniform?

Everytime I look for a TKD uniform they are always super thin and light weight. Does anyone know where I can find a TKD uniform that is heavy fabric so when someone grabs me they dont rip my uniform? You know kind of like the karate gi thickness but not a judo thickness. I am looking for a black belt uniform.

Can anyone help me out? Also one that doesnt have gay logos all over the place.

I've never seen a heavyweight TKD uniform. There are your typical heavyweight Karate gi's which if you don't use the ties will hold up fairly well. Personally I would use a judogi if I'm going to be practicing grappling in a gi.

I can help you out. Go to my online store and check them out and see if any of those fit the bill.

gay logos?

i knew tae kwon do was kind of gay, but i had NO IDEA they even put logos on their gi's that signify this.

are they like, those rainbow logos? or are their some other logos that also represent homosexuality.

What are you taking about bod?

Most don't.

I can also get several other heavy weight uniforms from Ikon or shuraido(sp).

But I don't have those on a website.

Anything that
Century
AWMA
MACHO
OTOMIX
World Martial Arts Supply carry I can get.

We don't use logos on our uniforms for TKD.

My Swain Judo gi has (his swoosh) type logo and the USA shoulder patches (which it wasn't supposed to have) but that's it. It's a damn heavy gi but works really well for BJJ.

In the Karate Section there is a 14 .oz canvas uniform. it's a cross over lapel.

Basically Karater gis are heavier then a TKD dobak. They have thicker stronger material. But they are in no way EVEN CLOSE to the thickness of a judo gi or ju jutsu gi.

But I want a TKD dobak that is like the karate one but V neck style with the black trim on the collar. I have found that these types of uniforms last way longer and are more practical for training then the light "stylish" trend crap most TKD jock fags like.

I seriously hate all the stupid logals all over and the big words on the pant leg and all that. Like NIKE or ADDIDAS all over. I dont mind a small logo that doesnt show up much, but even I have noticed brands will put a big screen print or embroidery on the lapen that is too big and colorful like green or whatever. Its dumb. I want a traditional look.

We don't use v-neck in our system and I prefer the heavy weight cross lapel uniforms so I haven't had the problem of finding good heavy weight uniforms without logos..

I've checked with several suppliers though and the best I could do was an 8oz.

Most v-necks do have logos all over them from what I see.

good luck finding what you want.

Yeah they probably dont. They only seem to make tournament dobaks so people wont get super hot when sparring.

I want one to train in. Oh well...Ill just try to find the heaviest weight and strongest material so it doesnt tear. Hopefully without horrid logos on the lapel and right leg. I dont want one that says "TEKNO" in huge red letters or "PINE TREE" or whatever. I especially dont want NIKE or ADDIDAS super huge.

As I said, I check with 10 suppliers and the best I could find was 8oz. It was either no logo or little logos
