I've heard some stories about old ROC guys and Korean mafia guys who can paralyse people with nerve blocks. Apparently some used this sort of thing to interrogate people that they thought were rats, leaving them in a chair where they could only blink and talk, or cause somebodies leg to be useless to them by grabbing an area behind the neck and around the shoulder...
Is this complete B.S.??? The people I heard it from, by the way, don't buy into any of the mystic dim mak bullshit, but one of them had a chance to see it applied, and mentioned it to me. Another story that came up was something about some elite North Korean military guys removing parts of the fingers so that they could strike with the whole surface of their hand like a knife strike... |

nope not bs in theory.
If you dislocate one of the vertibre in the neck it can cause that. When people where hanging themselves for the adrenaline rush it would happen on occasion and they were unable to put their feet down and would die. now if someone is able to do this with a strike or not I don't know, i've never seen it. I have seen some people paralyzed for brief moments of time like 30 seconds or so. but usually after a strike or continued contact.

Apparently this thing is practiced in some pretty nasty circles. I just know that it is some Korean art where they can pinch nerves or strike and press them into position, and leave somebody immobilized.
I also heard that they used as an interrogation tool, threatening to leave people incapacitated. |
