Just went to the 2005 ITF TKD British Open in Coventry on Sunday, damn it was awesome!

The first half of the day is given to patterns to get them out of the way quickly, the sparring that came afterwards was fantastic, I would've loved to have taken any TKD basher from this forum to see the ferocity and skill shown there, especially in the mens red or black belt at any weight class. Its supposed to be semi-contact, but in the mens, and some of the (scary!) womens, theres an unspoken agreement of "I'm going to twat you really hard, would you do the same for me please?". About 15 people had to taken away by the ambulance nearby, getting kicked in the throat ain't funny...

The real pleasure was watching the current British and world champion Warren Vice do his thing, that man is just so ridiculously quick!

On a side note I took 3rd in my competition, not bad for my first tournament.
