whats up fellas, i was sparring with a black belt. not point sparring mind you, and he caught me with a kick right under and to the left of my sack. thank jesus the cup was there or my testicles may have exploded if the kick had landed a little higher. right on my inner thigh is wear it landed, and if any of you have been kicked by a black belt you can probably relate. it hurt like a mother, of course i immediatly felt it, seeing as how its a pretty ripe spot. so i figured it would be okay, seeing as how im not a girl and i dont complain i thought of it to be nothing figuring it would heal and i would be on my way.
its been about maybe three and a half weeks and leading up untill now, every time i stretch for splits and or anything strenuous near the lower leg groin area like a turn kick i feel it in the tendent and the muscle of my stationary posting leg. theres no bruise just a little bit of a bulge. i know you guys arnt doctors, or some may be, not sure. but if any one has any suggestions or if it has ever happened to you your input would be nice. if i go to the doctor witch i may, he might just give me some perscription or something completly useless. im not one to run to the doctors so he can look at package, unless its a woman doctor witch would be awkward but nice at the same time. any know how would be appreciated. |

It might hurt for another two and a half weeks but should feel normal after that if you use it regularly.
I always figure 6 weeks for a severe tissue injury and three months for a bone. Other things can take longer with rehabilitation required for full function. I'm not a doctor but I've been hurt a few times. Try to use it, keep stretching and exercise it regularly. Avoid another hit there if you can!

Most important thing to do is not over use it, which could lead to a developing long term injury. Do not just leave it but level out you activity with it. If it starts to hurt then stop! Don't try and live through the pain because it could just keep getting worse and worse. Sometimes the discipline comes from refraining.
