OK, slow up. I did say retrospection. I'm more or less looking back as opposed to looking inward (introspection). Remorse, eh, maybe it's a bit too strong a word. I'm not sitting around at work (which is where I posted from the first time) thinking "poor ol' me." I'm sitting around thinking, there are things I should have handled better, I need to work on a few things. The retrospection is how I attempt to identify things I feel I need to work on: it's my first step in retifying what I feel needs to be rectified. So at that particular moment, in my free time, I identified things I've done, or qualities about myself which bring about a feeling of remorse. Step 1. You are right in saying that feeling guilty serves no practical purpose, but only if I stop there.

One of the things I want to change is the nature of my posts here. I've picked fights for no other reason than to pick fights. I felt in my heart that in order to start an apology was in order, so that's what I did. It may not mean much but I feel it has set some things right in my universe.

Apologies should only be used for making peace with your wife when you know you are right but don't want any more headaches. Change if you want to, but don't apologize.

I was on hiatus for about a month when whatever it was happened. It must have been pretty bad, I haven't seen Boar around at all...

...I don't know... I don't bare KSW any ill will, but I do get annoyed when people make judgements. It's not so much what he said, but how he said it. Who knows, maybe he could have blocked 99% of those kicks with his high boxing guard... kinda doubt it though. I won't say that what the guys in that tournament clip were doing was street effective or combat based but in their sport I'll bet some of them were world class if not close.

I like to think I'm fairly high level in my skills. If I were in the ring with any of those guys I'd be verrrrry verrrrry careful.
