Im happy 2 see ITF doing well in south korea, Some thing Gen Choi wanted.
Its a fact! Many WTF and Hapkido clubs already adpoted the ITF cirriculum and began teaching ITF in the Dojangs. Instructors began that ITF has a great deal to Offer. ITF is makin a name for itself in its homeland South Korea This is the 1 step that itf and wtf will reunite. This is 1 of many articles. http://www.phillyburbs.com/pb-dyn/ne...06-662163.html Any1 happen to hear this is happening cous i am. and i love my taekwondo. |

Sorry, ITFDespoja, but just because SK is so called adopting ITF, it still has to spread to AMERICA and other countries like that.
And as fair as I know, ITF is not very well looked upon in SK. I don't think that TKD will have any influence with the uniting of SK and NK... As for WTF, why would we accept ITF when we are doing so fine? ITF needs to unite itself BEFORE trying to unite with WTF.

mostly because there's this huge martial arts stereotype that stems from TKD schools(and tkd schools always teach a Hopkito program). People, of any age who "take" TKD, for whatever amount of time, think they can kick ass. They think the class is so exhausting mentally and physically. They think they dont need to learn other martial arts to make them have complete skills and they think they can defend against people punching them in the face, and they think they cant be taken down because they have good balance. The list goes on. And im not making this shit up, ive heard it from guys who still do taekwondo and hopkito.

Yep, I've seen it too.
I'm taking boxing when I go to college, but I'll be loyal to my TKD Now the classes, I train 2 hours a night, so of course I'm a little tired!
