Funnily enough theres more to scotland than just Glasgow and Edinburgh, you generally have to further north, I found a place that did them on the way up to the Orkneys.

Used to go to a place called "Genghis Khan Barbecue"
You had a grill and wok on your own table and could mix and match different ingredients and flavors.

penut butter, honey and bananna sammies. Fried sweet potatoes. English muffins with butter and lingon berries or Bonne Maman. Homemade pizzas (current favorite is pear and carmelized onions...try it...awesome!) 3 egg omelettes with different types of cheese and cured meats I glean from my parents' fridge. (good shit, Hamon Serano, Proscutto, Kasseri, Fontina, Grueyer (sp?).)
And breads slices with patte (actually...terrine to be technical.) I'm on a (personal) budget here...otherwise I'd be going for sweetbreads, double orders of curries (PANANG!!! BRING ME PANANG!!!), and 2 steaks a meal...but it doesn't stop me from stealing my family's food. God help the poor bastard that decides to take me out on their tab for sushi or dim sum. Seriously...pray for them. You know those "Lean pockets"...yeah...I eat about 4 in a sitting...not so lean when you do them that way. I tried the 4 Alarm "challenge" at Wendys...which, if you find spicy,...you suck at life. I'm CRAVING jabaneros and "prik" (capsicum orientalis). No jokes, assholes. ![]() 9 more lbs to 185. 190 lbs at 5'8'' is my goal... I'm maxing out all the leg machines...I need to focus on core and upper body. Cardio too, of course. Tonight's meal (for the moment) is a meatball panino thing from a local Italian market...with atrichoke and butter. |
