Does it make a real big difference is a school is Kukkiwon certified. Sounds like its a real big deal, but in my area there are not to many that are. Does this mean all other schools arent as good.
Thanks i need a little help here |

depends on if you care if your rank comes from Korea.
I don't think it's a big deal personally, I care about the quality of instruction and the group I'll be training with more than I do who signs my certificates

hmmmm, that's a bit tougher,
The only think I can tell you is watch the class, if the training looks like it's what you are looking for try it out. I've met good and bad instructors in every system, a certificate on the wall doesn't mean the person knows what they are talking about.

As a side note, I prefer the songahm system of taekwondo as a style, which is taught by the ATA. Finding a good instructor however can be difficult now a days in every system. If you PM me your location I'll see if I know of any schools in your area.

Actually, there is no such animal here in the states. A school may have Black Belts who are certified with the KKW, but the school itself is not. All schools that practice the Olympic or kukki-style method of TKD usually also certify the individual black belts with the KKW.

I think he was basically asking if attending a school that would register your black belt through the KKW was a big deal. Or in simple terms, does it matter if it's a WTF school or not.
Sometimes it's easier to answer the intended question than teach the semantics.
