Default Matt and Others:

Matt,
You've been doing Tae Kwon Do for a while now, so I thought I'd ask you a couple questions that other people have when they just start out. Maybe your experiences can help them:

What's your favorite thing about the martial arts? What do you like most of all?

What techniques do you like?

What techniques do you dislike?

Do you prefer punching or kicking?

Do you like forms or sparring more? Why?

Anyone else, please feel free to jump in on this topic as well. We see a lot of threads from beginners asking for input, and some of these questions (and their answers) are major areas of interest.

TKD was my very first art. The thing I remember most about being a beginner in TKD was the feeling of competence. I felt that I could defend my self with basic moves if necessary. I was a natural side kicker and my punches where decent from boxing. I really felt good about being able to defend myself.

Matt, you probably are at your maximum storage level for pictures. Go to the user cp and delete all of your old pictures then try to post the new ones.

Good call. I never even thought of that Hardball. Thanks for the assist.

For reference Matt, what you need to do is go into the User CP link. Scroll down and look on the left hand side of the screen for the heading "Miscellaneous." The last option in that little sub-box is "Attachments." Click on Attachments and it will open up a list of all the pictures and videos you've ever posted. Go through and delete the oldest ones and it should free up some room for you.

Cool, give me some more rep when you get a chance. Your reps count for a lot of points. LOL

I will, Hardball. I can't hand out anymore today. I spent it all "spreading it around."

You may need to delete a whole bunch of them. PM me and tell me exactly what you're doing to upload photos. I need to know what process you're using so I can help you.

You have to delete more than one. Try deleting all of your photo attachments.

I just looked at your account and there's nothing that shows why you might have trouble attaching files. Do what Hardball is saying and delete all of the ones in your User CP. Then try again.

Also, what type of file are you trying to attach? After the file name, what does it say? Is it something.jpg? Or maybe .bmp? Tell me what the three little letters are after the period in the file name.

I'll ask the other moderators about it but I can't find anything in your account or profile that indicates why you'd have trouble.

Are you using the quick link (the little picture of the paper clip) or the larger button down below that says Manage Attachments?
