Focus is the first step.

Relaxation is the second. You cannot relax without first being focused.
?How do you relax peep's? That's right- you've got to think about how you are going to relax.ie Focus.

So focus> then Relax>Then Realise Chi. Yeh well that's as far as I got.

It's a five step process, with the last 2 being 4) Direct Chi
5) Rejuvenate Chi...!?
apparently.......

Fist hmmmn

(Sometime's I don't pay enough attention.....)

It's something like getting from your head to your gut instinct by alligning the heart.

Body Mind Spirit. or in this case Head= Mind
Body= Heart(Which is reflected in the face!!)
Spirit=Gut Instinct=probably Tan Tien ...Remember that Awareness is the spirit...your Gut Instinct.

Just remember to allign the heart(That'll take some Focus!)

Coz the heart on the left...Focus on alligning the heart to get to your Gut Instinct.
Someone else can figure out the last two eh!!

In the end...put your heart into it!! s'pose!

Arrow How does it relate?:

I asked Sifu this: he said it's simply being able to relax and tense at a point when needed!!

Must be more...I want more!!!!

Guys, all I can say is "come on". You really believe in this stuff? Telling people how to focus their chi is like telling someone how to pray and it's about as effective.

Anything you "feel" coming out of this is entirely psychological. There is no scientific proof of chi, ki, gi, wee or anything else. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, just entirely honest.

Meditating, practicing breathing, focusing, etc. are all beneficial in that they help build confidence and train mental acuity, but as far as producing any sort of tangible, measurable, physical energy or effect, no way. Chi balls, magnetic fields, life force power, grounding, floating? Come on.

i was just wondering if u guys really believe this chi stuff i have no experience with it but honestly.... it sounds a little sketchy to be honest.

First off in a real fight your not gonna be able to be like hold on let me meditate.

second of all ..... did u guys ever think that u just are a good kicker with proper Form????

Bruce lee could kick the shit out of heavy bags and im pretty sure he didnt use "chi" or whatever.

There is a sub-discipline of Hwa Rang Do called Nae Kong. It is basically the raising of this energy and the manipulation of it in order to make the body light like a feather, heavy like a log, hard like a stone, ext...

A good site that explains and gives u a starting point on instruction is http://www.omaccanada.com/resources/articles.asp
