Default ki to increase stamina?

im no ki expert or anything but i have done the basic "ki-ball" i found somewhere on the net. But im wondering if ki can be used to increase stamina such as cardiovescular stamina and/ or bieng able to take hits better. is that possible? if so, any drills that would help? thanks.

i do train. Lotsa runnin' and stuff. Jus tryin sumthing that might give me an edge thats all
