Default bleeding, swetting, fainting:)

I devoted my entire life to martial arts, more on developing something new rather than practicing something that is already there. I think I gave my best at is and now I'm stuck with progress and I have decited to travel from now on to temples, masters.
First thing that crossed on my mind was Shaolin, but as the time passed, and read alot of stuff about it, I wanted something more ruthless. You know, like in the movies, some ruthless master in his cottage that can train me with the most obsceen method, breaking my ass of training, etc...You get the idea
Bleeding, swetting, fainting

Does anyone knows or can suggest what would be the right place to start my life trip, and who knows, maybe I find some master like that.

Find an instructor that will train you the way you want to be trained. If you saw how I trained on guy in my school. you'd run home and say there was no way in hell. But that is what he wants and as long as it gets him closer to his goals so be it.

How DARE you learn something new and develop it...must not be natural. Know your place and stay there. Take up a good profession like Sanitarial Engineering (a.k.a Toilet Science) and stay one dimensional with your tail tucked in between your legs.

If you're good at something else, it must be taking away from your true calling....lol

Cleanup in chamber number 7.....gotta run, c' ya!!!

So. in other words, your goal is to spend your "entire life" (your words) punishing yourself to become some kinda ultimate fighter...

Whassamatta wi' you? You some kinda masochist or sumptin'? Get a life, you loser! Unless you're making a living as a fighter, your intentions are pointless! Even if you're a pro, that's not the way to become a champion. Whyn'cha get a job or go work in a soup kitchen or Habitat for Humanity or even become a Sanitarial Engineer? (A lofty goal indeed!). Even x-f's student isn't living with him in some mountain cottage in Thailand, hiding from the real world.

Ninja, please!

I wouldn't think so; what the heck is wrong with liking hardcore training??? Hardcore training does not just have to besomething you do if you make a career as a fighter; the guy might want hardcore training, but have a career in something else.

If you like hard training, I just say go for it. However, if you want to be a REAL warrior, I say join the military. But if you love training and want to be very skilled in classical weapons and such, fine. Also, some people may not like competition a whole lot. But they may love training a whole lot!!!

It depends on the person.

Just make sure if you go into the woods you don't come to any cottage containing an old Chinese man with a daughter.

That man gave the guy the ultimate test. He said I will let you stay here, but do NOT touch my daughter or I will give you the mother of all known punishments. The guy agreed, and stayed. When the daughter came down for dinner, the man was enthralled, but knew to leave her alone. But then at night he couldn't help it, as she had been a flirt at dinner. so he snuck into her room and had sex with her. He then went back to bed. Next morning, he woke up with a rock on his chest. It had a piece of paper on it saying, "Ultimate punishment #1: Rock On Chest." The guy laughed, and tossed the rock out his bedroom window. Only then did he notice another sign that said, "Ultimate Punishment #2: Rock Tied to Left Testicle." The man panicked, so he jumped out the window after it, to avoid castration.. Only then did he see the third sign that said, "Ultimate Punishment #3: Right Testicle Tied to Bedpost."

Whoops, as prequel to that joke, I also meant to say, "This man once happened upon such a cottage in his travels...."

BTW, it's a joke

That's your problem right there. I've seen a lot of people join dojos thinking they'll become bruce lee's and become the greatest warrior in the world, beat the evil ninjas, hit a grandslam homerun, run around the bases while saving the entire stadium from the evil Cum Frum Sum Yung Guy clan. I actually once sparred a guy who tried to attack me with a fireball while screaming "hadukin!"

All of those people dropped out before they got their orange belts. Stop watching Kwai Chang Kane, and know your reasons for training. I have no intentions of saving the world. I live my life and if I happen to come into the rare situation where I need to defend myself, or I see others in need of help, then I can do something.

Sounds like prison to me. You'll get plenty of people breaking off your ass.

I agree with Broadsword2004. If you really want to be a warrior and develop your own style. Join the military and try to be Airbone, green beret, navy seal, or whatever you have the will to join.

These elite teams are about as ruthless as it gets. Forget about stickfighting. They'll give you automatic weapons, and hard-core training. You'll definitly bleed, and sweat. They'll probably train you to NOT faint, though.

The Military offers plenty of opportunity for travel, and Youll have far less of a chance dying there than wondering through the forests of china, looking for a remote cabin containing some master without students.

I respect your devotion, but to what end?
