here's what happens when techniques are not trained very well. Check out this cop trying to armbar a drunkard.

Where have you been.. he didnt try to armbar him, he tried to Hammer lock him (wrestling its called a hammerlock) more commonly referred to as the cop hold thing... and hten he just like tasers him or something... no armbar...?

My last century phone modem only loaded the first 20 seconds, I saw two attempts at a "bent" arm bar ??? We can all second guess what might have worked better, that's why the clips are cool! Perhaps if he would have swept his foot and put him on the deck first...
Perhaps a bit more training with the grappling (range), eh? Resisting opponents should be standard but that officer obviously didn't have enough experience or confidence in his skill to apply that lock. SAD!

yeah, I definitely made a mistake calling it an armbar. It's obviously not. But the point is, when you see the video, the cop puts both his hands on the guys one arm, and still cannot bend it. Also if you look, he leaves his weapon exposed to the drunks other arm. The cop really could have paid the price for this one. In the end, the drunk gets tazered, which is worth watching about a dozen times.

Sorry again for the mistake.
