Fist Good!

You have some idea already. By closing your eyes and sitting down you are at the root fundamentals of meditation. Here are some more tips to improve your meditation. Try playing some calming or mildly flowing music to concentrate on. You can also try counting your breaths. as you inhale, mentally count one. as you exhale mentally count two. repeat until all you can concentrate on or focus on is the counting and the breaths. ensure you find a comfortable position to start your meditation. and remain still and relaxed. release all tension in your muscles and let it flow naturally. I meditate quite often sometimes for hours and these methods have always worked. the more often you do it the more your focus and meditation technique grows until you eventually develope your own sensation for the technique and refine it.

Good luck friend!
