Default Battle Scars

This thread was inspired by something Brewer wrote in his New Parent thread.

How many here have Battle Scars on their body that over the years have become a badge of honor? Something you can attribute to a person, event or time span in your life? More that one scar? Tell us about your favorite scar/scars and if you wish--tell us the story of your scar.

I'll start: I had a mean looking scar on my forehead that I wore for years. It took over 20 years to completely heal. I got it in a junior high school brawl in which an improper body slam saw me trying to crack the floor with my forehead. The floor won. I also have a couple of more.

Self inflicted scars don't count. LOL

Does a scar through my eyebrow from smashing my head off a coffee table when I was two count?

I have a massive facial scar given to me by a couple of folks. I'm told it is absolutely horrendous, but I am used to it now.

I've never really spoken about it to be honest.

Anyone want to hear about how I got it?

It's best not to go thru life blaming your parents for your face.

Back to topic - my left pinky finger is deformed from a childhood accident and amateur surgery. I have all kinds of stories at the ready for when people ask about it (stray bullet during the Cuban revolution, stray bullet during the Colombian drug wars, bungled Yakuza failure sacrifice, pit bull bite, barracuda bite, shark bite, gator bite, etc.).
