im not sure where this thread belongs but i guess it shows the psychology of fighting in a sense. look at the scared look on the child soldiers face, his soiled pants; then look at the expression on the veterans face. i dont remember where i found it but kudos to the photographer.

I'm roughly 80% sure that's a shot from "All Quiet on the Western Front." Not an actual war photo, but a scene from the 1955 Movie with Ernest Borgnine and Richard Thomas. Not 100% sure, but fairly certain...

If I'm not mistaken there is a drill sarge in that movie that is all balls out during training but pisses himself in a foxhole during the real deal.

That movie was actually Homer's Odyssey just modernized. But yeah I can kinda see how you got that out of that character.
