Default Mind Power

sory if this has already been posted..

some months ago, a professor came to our school and he was explaining the power of our minds! i didn't listen to him (he was boring, and i didn't care for martial arts that much as today), but i heard him say that a woman somewhere moved a 5 ton rock with her mind to a height of about 3 metres!

is this really possible, or is this some kind of bullshit? and what trainings are necessary to be able to do this (if it's even possible)?

It is impossible, it is a load of crap, and you were probably right not to listen to him.

Ki, or Chi, or whatever it is that people like to call it in their givin martial art is complete crap.

Ki/Chi is an internal thing. Yes, people can control their heart beats and stuff like that. It is proven that the use of internal chi can make people hold their breath for very long periods of time as well. But that is it, it is internal.

No one, anywhere has ever proven that Ki/Chi can work outside the body, period! There are no exceptions to this.

And if anyone would like to prove me wrong, there is a foundation for the supernatural/mind moving/telepathic crap that offers 1 million US dollars to anyone who can prove otherwise.

Hope that helps!

you should learn qi gong, not sure about how to do it, but one of the things you can do is to direct a lot of your body's internal energy to one part of your body, and it will be hard as steel. that's how the shaolin monks are able to stick a spear to their throath and push a car with it, but they have been cultivating their qi-energy for years and years...

You're right. Physical conditioning, technique and trickery is nothing to do with it. No sir.

As for moving the rock with her mind, thats nothing. I know a woman who can kill off a whole nation by boring them to death with one post!

Bri Thai bows deeply.......

You might take the biggest douche in the universe award away from Kevin.

****ing hell man...yeah, a woman lifted a 5 ton rock 3 meters with telekenesis. In the X-men movie maybe. Jean Gray/Phoenix can do that shit. And Molecule Man. If its got enough metal Magneto can.

Douche.
