Mortal Kombat screwed some people up!

At my highschool there these few kids who play all the fighting games all the dam time, because of this they have a screwed up view of the martial arts. One of these kids is always talking shit and thinks he can beat everyone up, today he was talking about how he broke 3 boards with a punch(which we all know would break his hand) I know this kid doesn't take classes, I assume he just watches Street Fighter and Rumble in the Bronx to learn how to fight :-)
so I told him that he was full of shit, and he said he would kick my ass right there. I told him to try, so he threw a shitty crescent kick that I ducked and shin kicked him in the knee which caused him to fall. He got up and threw a sloppy overhand looking thing that I slipped and kneed him in the stomach, he fell down right as a teacher came in and yelled at me. I got 5 hours of after school punishment service(which ain't bad, people get that for cursing or chewing gum!) because I know the principle well... I'm not bull shittin' I'm just on a testosterone trip and was wondering if I handled the situation right. Thanks,
BTW the other guy got 7 hours!!!

Well kids are kids I guess. I've gotten in challenge matches myself. But they can turn ugly, so I would avoid them most of the time
