This is, surprise surprise, not a "who would win" thread. I just wonder what Igors strategy would be against Vitor. We know Vitor would stand up and punch, since that is his only really powerful weapon, I doubt he would take down and submit Igor. Now, Igor is one strong motherF*****, I think he would be able to take Vitor to the ground and pound him, maybe submit him by neck crank. But, is he smart enough to do this, and take away his opponents only strength? Or would he punch out with one of the greatest punchers in NHB history? The bottom line is: We know Igor is strong, tough and dangerous. But does he have a game plan?

I think Igor could beat Vitor quite easily standing up..

Vitor would get rocked standing up. Reminds me of a quote Tank Abbott said about old Vitor before he proceeded to beat the shit out of Scott Ferrezzo, "Roy Jones, Jr. couldn't knock out Mike Tyson." In this case, this would actually hold true because not only is Igor bigger then Vitor, he's also just as good a puncher as Vitor. In a fight like this, I can't possibly think of anything Vitor could do that Igor doesn't do better. They're quite similar fighters really, its just that one is a heavyweight and one is a middleweight. Imagine if Takada was as good as Sakuraba [similar fighters like Igor and Vitor], I wouldn't even think Sakuraba stood a chance if it wasn't for his craziness. So think of it that way, everything Vitor can do, Igor can do harder

If Vitor saw Igor staring across the ring at him he would take a dump in his Bad Boy speedos.

That alone would cause him to lose the fight.

I don't think Vitor would be dumb enough to stand and trade with Vovchanchin. Vovchanchin ahs been pretty easy to take down in his fights(Goodrige took him down 2 or 3 times in both fights), Barreto and Sak didn't seem to have too much trouble either. Vitor was a very accomplished wrestler in Brazil, so I think he would defiantly take him down. I think he could get a decision over Vovchanchin if he plays a smart game by holding him down and scoring points with punches. Goodridge seemed to do very well against Vovchanchin in both fights until he goes brain dead and lets him up to trade with him and gets K.O.'d.
