Using Judo In Self Defence Situations

I know that kodokan Judo features atemiwaza, but would anyone with experience of judo suggest the best throw sweep etc for a stand-up self defence situaltion?

I don't know about the best, but any of the reaps are handy to know.

My favorite is the strong side (my right leg) O Soto Gari.

I think the sweeps and trips are best, like Ashi barai and O'soto Gari variations.

But I saw Neil Adams do Tai O toshi on a guy on the TV once. He looked like a train splattering a peanut. I was awesome.

Whatever you choose, train it so well that you're brilliant at it.

Spanky, you're stealing my moves man! O Soto Gari on my right side is my best move right now.

I guess that makes it clear to everyone that I'm a beginner in Judo

I like Harai Goshi. It might be hard to do in self defend depending on the situation. Stick with the simple stuff.
