![]() | I've asked this question before and here is what I was told. Pressure points are a good way to piss off the other guy. In BJJ tournaments, I have never seen any rules against using them. But I was never taught pressure points in BJJ, only in Hapkido. But to use a pressure point you have to give up your arm/hand, you would have to be very careful not to get submitted yourself. When we practice pressure points in HKD I see lots of chances to apply armbars and triangles. I don't think TKD pressure points would be any different.
