Mike Tyson admits he would lose in a NHB fight?!

I was over at the underground forum and some dude said Tyson admitted that he would lose a NHB fight.Here is the original post....

"This is a great thread but I have met Tyson,Kerr has met him,and many others. He will tell you,he would get beat in NHB. Its as simple as that. He said it,it came from his mouth. He would always have a punchers chance,but he would never be fought standing by anyone unless they were great with kicks"

Well I guess that settles all the Tyson vs NHB fighters disputes.

Is that big news? Mike Tyson does not train for NHB, and so he would lose.

Joe Louis once said that you cannot compare boxing and judo. He said something to the effect: If I hit the judo guy first, he dies. If the judo guy gets me in a clinch, I die.

I still say that if an elite boxer learned grappling he could be a major force in NHB.

LOL! Yet another impeccable source. These internet myths are getting out of control.

Some time ago it on ADCC news it was reported that Kerr met Tyson and Tyson said he was a fan of Kerrs. Tyson is also rumored to have said to Kerr he would not win in a top level NHB fight. It was not a direct quote from Tyson and may well have been taken out of context if he said it all.
I think Tyson was just being polite to Kerr.

Many MMA or NHB fights have ended by knockout within the first 60 seconds. If Belfort, Abbott, Frye and the like can do it, why is it so hard to imagine Tyson doing it?

Mikes crazy but not stupid...he knows NHB aint his game...

Although IMO he could beat the hell out of alot of the heavyweights out there today...

like he says...punchers chance....bear in mind he is a better puncher than any NHB guys can even dream of facing..
I'm sure he knows this too...

It all depends on the takedown skill and strike defense of the NHB'er.

If Tyson fights a weak enough opponent, he will win.

Most of the top NHB'ers will wipe the floor with him, literally.

'Nuff said.
