    Whats a good fight opener

regardless of style, and regardless of which styles suck or not, there are just certain techniques that u should never start a fight with, and i dont mean a sparring match, or full contact bout, i mean a street fight, so what techniques are good to use as the first blow that wont get u killed for trying to use it and has a very good success rate of hitting your opponent and preferably without u gettin hit in the process, and sry i do not know how to shoot in and throw or go for the clinch and knee(not even sure if those would be good openers just letting u know i dont know how to do them properly) and yes i know i should learn how to do them, and i am working on that, but for rite now just plain stand up, what should my opening attack be.

thanks in advance for the advice.

Sucker punch or quick kick to the groin. Then run.

The best thing to do till you get more experance is be aware of your surroundings and avoid a bad situation. There are many ways to be attact so there is not one magic technnic. Keep training and ask your instructor if you could stay after class and work on some self defence training.

Tridraco is right, there are no magic techniques. train all of them, its all in what ever taget is open to you in any given situation. not trying to disrespect you but so many arts focus on "if he does this you do this". it just dont work. the more defences you learn against any given attack can lead to freezing.

focus more on your tool development, verbal and awareness.

I like to open with a couple of kamehamehas and finish with a spirit bomb.
in most cases inexperienced fighters just start throwing hooks or whatever they call their random arm swinging so right down the middle is where I go and a if I can a good slap to the face will stun them. Its not like a punch where you punch him and continue on. Also a good claw strike to his throat is good as well. A good stun will be like "hey he just slapped me" and will give you a good chance to kick him in the balls...and run.

if you have powerfull kicks the best bet is a front kick.
it has great range, can be done while approaching each other.
it can be directed to the nuts, stomach or throat
and its a nice surprise for your opponent if he shoots for a takedown.
also if the range changes quickly you can turn it into a knee
as you would a punch to an elbow.

    hope that helps mate.

    peace.....for now

    Try this classic proven technique:

    1. Give TWO (not one) middle fingers.
    2. Kick to midsection.
    3. Stone Cold Stunner. You know it has really taken effect if your opponent does a backflip after being stunned.

Heheh sorry, just watched RAW . . .

    Best regards,

It ain't what you do its the way that you do it. Setting him up for a sucker punch (or slap or kick etc) by verbally confusing him for a moment. Like, for example, "Don't our mothers know each other?"

As he takes a second to wonder, smack - and down he goes.

Set up correctly you could probably have quite a choice on how to hit.

ps - Don't be so careful with your full stops. They won't run out as there are plenty to go around.

A head butt to the nose is always a good fight opener if you start it.

"the more defences you learn against any given attack can lead to freezing."

very tru, when one learns only how to stop a particular blow then freezing occurs alot... practice how to fight, now how to "protect" yourself
