I agree that you believe that, I'm interested in people that live outside the bubble. Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. So no offense, I see no point in continuing this any further. Guy Incog, I commend your sense of reality, at least it is inline with mine. Apparently though we are a minority(as usual). You guys hash this out among yourselves. Would you even want to see a match where biting and eye gouging
are allowed? if the answer is yes, seek some help my friend.
peace.....for now
Thats not my aguement iwould not want people hurting each other. Its just not a good measure of a fighter. In answer to smartfighter i do crowd control and security work.Originally Posted by gracilva

I would never wish ill will on anyone or would i like to see such things, although I have and worse. The fact still remains, don't try to sell it to me as reality based fighting. When it is in no way like reality. Its sport and as such I don't have a problem with it. But the thread was about its viability as a gauge for ones fight readines in a reality scenario, and it just doent cut it.Originally Posted by guy incognito

ok for smartfighter and guy incog. when guy asks if its fake.. your telling me that then pat smith pounded the crap out of scott morris (ufc 2) that its staged ? dude no way !!! it sucks that there are more rules but no way are they real.. i agree that with soo many rules NOW that its not 100% real fighting. but back then thats as close as it gets... There was a post someone had saying in a fight why not just bite, kick in the balls eye gouge. etc... someon sent a link that proves why that doesnt ALWAYS work.. in some case im sure it would but not all. yeah it might hurt like a female dog but theres soo much adrenaline and the body can withstand tremendous amounts of torture. but going back to the initial post of being real or staged i think its 100% real as do a majority of people.. it might not be 100% the same as a street fight though which i agree with you guys on but as far as being real it is.. its not staged no way though !!

well if you get a finger in the good eye then i guess your kinda screwed huh ? haha.. i would think that its not that easy to go for an eye gouge.. i mean it seems like you could stop it before a great deal of damage is doneOriginally Posted by guy incognito

i suppose being in a coma will give him plenty of time
to re-construct his elbow too.
You really have to get to a grappling school and have a roll
to really understand where i'm coming from.
