I did a few searches and unfortunately have not been able to find any schools within a reasonable distance of where I live. I am in Littleton, CO Zip Code 80120. I am looking for a good BJJ or Muay Thai school near me. Thank you for any help.

people that are too far away from a bjj schools generally round up a few of their buddies and hit the garage. pitch in for cheap mats, buy some vids, and start training, if you have the passion to do it. it works best if one of you, yourself takes initiative in buying a video, watch and memorize what they do and say, then present it to your "students", and drill it. but then again if that one school there is a 45 min drive, that's not bad.

I drive 1.5 hours each way to train with Elvis Sinosic. If you want the training, you'll do the drive. Training with an instructor is so many times better than learning solely from video.

Ya, defiently train with a instructor. Alot of your beginnings is going to be testing theroy and learning. Shoot, your whole training in MA will be testing theory. We do it all the time, we see moves and we think of ways to make it better and different types of escapes and positions and try them out on some of the more experience ppl in our class, usually testing your theory or someone new will work as they usually dont provide much resistant and very little experience.
