My friend and I had this argument today: who would win between these two characters, not actors, in a boxing match Clubber Lang (Mr. T in Rocky III) or Ivan Drago (Dolf Lundgren in Rocky IV)? I say Ivan Drago. What do you guys think?

Clubber Langs weakness was his stamina. Drago had no problem with stamina and has a huge size advantage.
I say Drago wins by KO in round 3.

If Drago can kill Apollo Creed them Clubber would die as well.

Rocky Balboa is the only man with a thick enough skull to live through Dragos 2 ton punch.

Drago would KO but not kill Lang. Remember, Apollo was WAYYYYYYY over his prime when Drago killed him. Also Drago would destroy Tong Po. He would just have to throw straight punches to counter those Thai leg kicks.

Both guys had superhuman strength and attributes..

Tong Po Kicking concrete pillars and shattering them..

Drago...damn...he was like a machine when he trained..

I say If Tong Po is careful ...he can break Dragos legs with those kicks...

If Drago catches tong po though...thats it...dead...

I guess Van Dammes character in kickboxer "Nat Su Kau" "white warrior" or something would kick both their asses...

Guys, don't forget Tong Po's elbows; that, with his leg kicks... I'd say he'd prison bitch Drago. He has advantage on the kicking AND clinching range, although if Drago catches him in the punching range, he'll be in some serious trouble...

The soviet monster would destroy all of them. In fact, Drago would most likely have mopped the floor with Rocky, but Balboa was the hero in the movie so he had to win, otherwise the movie would be pointless.

But if it weren’t for the movie and Rocky did win anyway, my best guess would be that he worked harder. Remember the Russkie was hooked up to all these machines which monitored every single muscle as he worked out. He was probably buffed up by steroids also. Rocky on the other hand did it the old fashioned way, training as hard as he could. Running through knee deep snow, which is pretty damn difficult so I’m guessing his stamina was out of the roof with his insane training. Basically what I’m trying to say is, hi-tech machines and steroids can’t beat hard work and determination.

I would admire and respect anyone who could last three rounds with the Russian. In the end though you’ll end up legally brain damaged like Rocky.

Drago vs. Clubber Lang – Ivan
Drago vs. Tong Po – Drago
Rocky vs. Van Damme – Rocky
