B) Here is below the experience of a student of ours who trains in sweden
when he posted to the rma newsgroup on google.com.

"Ive seen Non yellow bamboo practitioners trying the attacking
and none of them were able to get more than 1 meter infront of the
person defending before the attacker fell down unconcious.

These practices/trainings took place in Sweden. Here they did not have
to "join yellow bamboo" and do "full moon initiations" they just
wanted to try if it works, and they had the chance to.

To be allowed to attack, they had to:
ask the teacher for permisson, and then be really angry at the person
they were going to attack, then simply attack him, (ie: trying to
punch him really hard in the face to hurt him)

Everyone that has asked to try attacking has done it from what ive
heard and seen.

And nobody has been able to stay on his feet, they have all fallen
down, either unconcious, or just unable to move.
And im talking about, non believers, that were not members of YB, that
didnt believe in it and wanted to try it.

I took a look at the website and here's a quote, "If you watch the videos you will see that it is possible to knock down attackers without touching them."

Of course the videos show knocking down attackers without touching them. That's very possible. Especially when you consider why the attackers are dropping to the ground without being touched. The horrible stench from the abundance of bullshit would drop anyone!

I do believe that it works on some people. It works on the type of person that gets hypnotized watching a swinging watch on tv, the type of person who falls into convulsions while watching a crooked evangelist, the type of person that believes they have been abducted by aliens and returned to earth as a spy, the type of person who shells out money for every pyramid scheme that comes their way, the type of person that belongs to a cult, the type of person who believes the National Enquirer is a legitimate news source and the list goes on and on and on.

Lets think real hard for a minute. If that were possible to do and to teach someone how to do it, it would be a lot more valuable than the $9.95 being charged to learn. The military would be utilizing it for combat, police officers wouldn't have to carry guns and all the alien abductions would be halted with this superior hocus pocus magic self-defense.

Instead of making the $9.95 why not enter the UFC, Pride, professional boxing and make millions without ever throwing a punch? That's what I would do if my objective was to make more than $9.95 and I had talent like that.

It should be against the law for someone to start BS like this. Its impossible pure and simple, unless yeah you have a gun then you might be able to knock people down from that far away.

If it was real there would have been many many people doing it by now and it would have been much more advertised then it is. I wonder where it started and how long ago it started.

On the face of it- your idea sounds good. Maybe if we were located in the usa it mght be true- however we are in bali and almost all of the 30,000 people who practice here speak no english. We were founded 15 years ago by pak serengen a government official the head of silat in bali.

Actually now that i think of it you are almost right- everyone in Bali knows about yellow bamboo from word of mouth. For balinese, bali si the center of the universe much like to americans the usa is the center of the universe so it would make sense that it does no go outside bali before now with internet technology.

Anyway- why dont you try it yourself before you condemn it?

I'll believe it when I see it, but as far as i'm concerned the guys are right, if there was a system so effecient the authorites would definately utilize the methods. So if this stuff works on true warriors I would be very interested to see a Yellow Bamboo man in a mixed martial arts compition. Let's see how well they hypnotize with Mirko Cro-Cop's foot jammed directly up their rectum.
(P.S. And if you're woundering YES that was a dare, a double dog dare )
