Hi All,
For those who don't know me, my name is Mario Roberto and I am a BJJ black belt. I just wanted to let you know that I will be moving to Rochester (MN) later this month. I hope to be teaching BJJ there as soon as possible (once I find a proper venue), and eventually would like to open up a school of my own. I am also interested in teaching at local schools, setting up seminars in the area, and things of the sort. If any of you would like to get in touch, please feel free to e-mail me at mariorobertojj@hotmail.com All the best, Mario |

ttt for mario. this guy had a couple of really good wins in hooknshoot many years ago against henry matamoros and travis fulton. glad to see you're still training. The weird knee lock you did against Matamoros is something I have never ever seen doen since in BJJ, MMA or sub grappling. did you finish school? I heard you went to become a doctor?

Green Whale,
Thanks for the kind words. It is good to see that people still remember some of my old HnS fights. Yeah, I was going through medical school at the time. I have since graduated, gotten my M.D. degree and now I am moving to the US on a permanent basis. I am pretty happy about that, since it will be the first time I will be able to teach, train and compete full time. All the best, Mario |

Mario TAPPED Matamoros, Aaron Riley and John Renkin that night. Those were some great matches. I can tell you from experience that he is a lot bigger now, his kickboxing and wrestling are a lot better, and his BJJ has evolved a ton since then. Lucky guys in MN.
