Default whats more over rated?

i know people talk about how mt is sooooooo unstoppable and bjj is the shyt but seriously.. whats more over rated mt or bbj?

there's no "more" overrated. they both are.

Well ... I don't think it's as simple as "they're both over-rated." The reason why BJJ and MT get so such acclaim is because there is very little BS in both styles. You're not going to be learning katas and you will be facing resisting opponents. The techniques taught in both styles are very effective compared to the typical Karate/Kung Fu/Tae Kwon Do McDojos that have become the mainstream conception of martial arts today.

However, that is not to say that someone who trains BJJ or MT will be invincable in a street fight. But, those who practice these styles will generally be better equipped to defend themselves than a TKD student who got his black belt in 2 years.

mcdojo's are ruining the country. funny fact: evan rachel wood, the 14 year old star of the movie "thirteen" is a blackbelt in tae kwon do. wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley. hahaa.
