![]() | I have heard that he is a great instrucotor. He trained Dean Lister who is a KOTC champ. I also heard he is very focused on vt and self defense but the only evidence is a hint from Listers site |

![]() | I've trained with Fabio Santos and he's a great instructor and also a great guy. His school is huge, in an industrial park near Qualcomm stadium in San Diego. I trained with Fabio at the Torrance Academy along with Royce. Then Fabio left and moved to San Diego. It was, from what I heard, a little tough when he first opened up his school. A few guys went down and they would get private lessons since he had virtually no one showing up. But word spread and he has a huge class base. Fabio's competition team is tough, with lots of students doing well in competitions. San Diego was kind of a waste land for BJJ/MMA years ago. Fabio was one of the first BJJ black belts to start a BJJ school. Now there are well over a dozen BJJ black belts in the area, all great instructors. ANY time I am in the San Diego area, I always try to go by and train or at least visit. If you're in the area, you owe it to yourself to go and train with a great instructor. http://www.fabiojiujitsu.com/ |
