It's interesting how many 'famous' people do BJJ... Must be because us BJJ-ers are so damn cool.

Ed has been training BJJ for years. He takes privates with Rorion.

Years ago, when I was at the Torrance academy and they had some school dinners, Ed would be there.
I think but I'm not sure, Ed may have been recently promoted to brown belt......

There are quite a few celebrities that train BJJ.

When Tommy is not making private videos with pam, he's also doing BJJ. Holla

I was watching "Cribs" on MTV a few months ago, and they were showing Paul Walker's place (the white guy from "The Fast and the Furious") and he talked about how he does bjj as well.

If I had the financial back-up, I will definitely take some privates classes with Rorion.

When I see a lot celebs train in the arts, I feel a majority of them just do it for show! Out of all the actors that practice this, who do you feel could "truly" apply it?

I read an article a year or so ago that said Rikki Rocket of the 80's hair band Poison is apparently a BJJ purple belt. By now, he's probably a brown. Which for some reason I can't quite explain, makes me want to kill myself.

The original "American Ninja" Michael Dudikof (sp?) use to train at Rigan Machado's.

Michael Clark Duncan of The Green Mile, Daredevil, Armageddon, (and more) also trains at Rorion's.

Riki used to train, not sure if he still does.

The band "Bio Hazard" trains.

I disagree. BJJ isn't big enough to be a trophy activity for anyone and it isn't flashy enough to benefit them on film. So why infer that they train for any other reason than they like to train?
